I am a practicing Landscape Architect with a fondness for linework, colour and nature.
My paintings start life as loose sketches in yellow ink and are completed with additional acrylic ink colours using calligraphy pens and fine brushes. The use of these tools and mediums allows me to paint both intuitively and in detail, resulting in a unique piece which is simultaneously controlled and random. I particularly enjoy using basic primary and secondary colours, prioritising hue over shades as a way of creating tone in my work.
