About Erin

Hello, I’m Erin — a practicing Landscape Architect based in Melbourne, with a deep fondness for linework, colour, and above all, nature.

My paintings begin as loose, intuitive sketches in yellow ink. From there, they take shape through layers of acrylic ink, built up with calligraphy pens and fine brushes until each piece finds its own quiet sense of place.

This combination of tools and mediums lets me paint both intuitively and in detail — resulting in pieces that feel controlled and random in equal measure. I particularly enjoy using basic primary and secondary colours, favouring hue over shades as a way of creating tone in my work.
